Another flick hot off of its SXSW 2012 premiere has landed distro and the feral child in us all should be more than pleased. Read on for the latest out of Austin, Texas!

According to The Hollywood Reporter Cinedigm Entertainment Group and New Video have partnered to acquire U.S. distribution rights to Citadel, from first-time writer-director Ciaràn Foy. The Ireland-set horror film had its world premiere at the 2012 SXSW Film Festival, where it won the Midnighter Audience Award. Citadel is the first scripted acquisition under the recently announced partnership between the two companies.

Writer/director Ciarán Foy brings us the flick, which stars Aneurin Barnard, James Cosmo, Wumni Mosaku, Jake Wilson, and Amy Shiels, and this baby looks to be one to keep an eye on!

Citadel tells the tale of an agoraphobic father who teams up with a renegade priest to save his daughter from the clutches of a gang of twisted feral children. You just have to hate those wild little bastards!
