Danneel Harris Is the Latest Roommate

Screen Gems' The Roommate just got a lot better looking with the addition of Danneel Harris of "One Tree Hill" to the cast as an old friend of star Minka Kelly.
The news came down from Variety, and was pointed out to us by one of our readers, PL320. The Roommate is being described as a psychological thriller about a deranged college freshman, Rebecca (Leighton Meester), who becomes dangerously obsessed with her new roommate, Sara (Kelly). The film is being helmed by Danish director Christian E. Christiansen based on a script by Sonny Mallhi and is slated for release some time in 2010.

It's DANNEEL Harris who's been added to The Roommate, not Danielle. People frequently confuse the two. Variety confirms it here:

I swear, someone out there must be a mindreader when it comes to casting this movie. Sure, it looks like a ripoff of Single White Female, but it's the type of movie that I'll see in the theatres... with my pants on, as much of a struggle as it may be to do so.
