Fangoria got word from horror’s most famous face, Robert Englund himself, that a new project is in the works that may pair the Freddy front man up with all time Hammer Horror great Christopher Lee! Thought nothing is in stone yet, Robert is set to direct a new film based on Russian author Nikolai Gogol’s The Viy.
If Englund’s adaption close to what Gogol wrote back in 1835, we’re in for one crazy trip; coffins go flying, piggyback rides from hell and a sexy woman right out of a Bava movie! The film is looking to start shooting sometime in November in Italy. We’ll bring you more as we find it!
