Those crazy Brits behind the Bloody Cuts horror anthology are at it again! They’ve given us fair warning this time as we’ve just received an announcement that March 18 will see the release of their newest short film, Mother Died. Mother Died? Really? Is nothing sacred around here?

Around here … I guess not. Bazinga!

Bloody Cuts is an anthology film series that will eventually be conglomerated into one movie, once filming of the 13 shorts is completed. For now, the Bloody Cuts team treats us by releasing the shorts one at a time.

Written and Directed by BAFTA winning Make-Up FX Maestro Neill Gorton, Mother Died is a story of fear, family and sacrifice with special make-up FX courtesy of our sponsors Millennium FX.

Starring Sarah Winter in the lead role, Mother Died is another short slice of UK horror from the team behind Prey, Stitches and Lock Up. This is our biggest and most impressive episode yet. Believe us; you won’t forget Mother’s Day this year…
