The guys over at Aullidos have been providing a stead stream of info regarding the upcoming Juame (The Darkness) Balaguero/Paco (Romasanta) Plaza collaboration, [REC], which today culminated with their first look at the final trailer for the film.
The story concerns a camerawoman who follows a team of firefighters into a rundown building when a new strain of rabies breaks out. The film’s told completely from the viewpoint of hand-held cameras, in real time, and promises to be alarmingly brutal.
Pougkeepsie Tapes helmer John Erick Dowdle is behind the US remake, but I’m sure the Spanish original will be here in no time. It’s premiering at Sitges and opens across Spain November 23rd so expect some serious updates soon.
