Eagerly awaiting the highly acclaimed anthology flick V/H/S (review here)? Then we are about to make you incredibly happy as some rock solid release news has come in!
Magnolia has announced that they’re planning to roll the horror anthology film out on VOD August 31st with a limited theatrical run to follow October 5th. Nifty!
Segment directors include Adam Wingard (You’re Next, A Horrible Way to Die, Pop Skull), Simon Barrett (You’re Next, Dead Birds, Read Sands), Ti West (The House of the Devil, The Roost, The Innkeepers), David Bruckner (The Signal), Joe Swanberg (Silver Bullets), Glenn McQuaid (I Sell the Dead), along with Radio Silence, two of whom were part of the YouTube sensations known as Chad, Matt and Rob (Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Chad Villella).
The film follows a group of misfits hired to burglarise a house to find a rare VHS tape, only to find more found footage than they wanted to see..
