Hammer Films' latest flick The Resident may just be getting an old and very familiar landlord of sorts. I refer of course to a Hammer staple of days gone by -- the legendary Christopher Lee.
Bloody Disgusting reports tonight that Lee has landed the role of "August" in Hammer Films' latest project, which they're told could be retitled to Invasion Of Privacy. Should this come to fruition, he will be starring alongside the previously announced cast of Hilary Swank and Jeffrey Dean Morgan.
This could be really cool and even be a full-circle situation of sorts for Lee, who to a large extent made his name with Hammer playing such infamous characters as Dracula, The Mummy, Frankenstein's Monster, and the mad monk Rasputin.
In The Resident Swank will play a doctor who moves into a new apartment and begins to suspect she’s not alone. She soon learns that her landlord is a stalker and ... well, hopefully something interesting happens.
The film will be directed by Antti Jokinen and starts filming this June in New Mexico.
