Perhaps feeling guilty for its country’s part in the atrocious Alone in the Dark movie, the Game Convention going on in Germany right now has offered up some screenshots of the new Alone in the Dark that give us a bit more insight into the game. Atari is also reportedly demoing the game behind closed doors, so these shots should be followed up with additional concrete information very soon.
Showing off more than the game’s graphics, the five shots give us a look at the rather special inventory system that basically has you opening up your coat and looking down, which is rather simple and quite brilliant, as well as a peek at the fire effects.
My favourite shot involves a razor blade, and if a picture paints a thousand words, at least one of those would be “OW!” Check them all out right here!
