According to Deadline, Twilight‘s Billy Burke has been cast in NBC’s JJ Abrams/Eric Kripke pilot “Revolution”, directed by Jon Favreau. The high-octane action drama follows a group of people struggling to survive and reunite with loved ones in a world where all forms of energy have mysteriously ceased to exist. Burke will play a charismatic Marine.

In other casting news, David Harbour (The Green Hornet) has joined the cast of NBC’s pilot “Midnight Sun”. The thriller, based on an Israeli format, follows the mysterious disappearance of Midnight Sun, a group living on a cult-like commune in Alaska. It centers on Leah Kafka (Julia Stiles), a female FBI cult specialist leading the investigation that uncovers a larger conspiracy. In his first series regular role, Harbour will play the mysterious Ethan Davis, who runs the local Coast Guard. Harbour recently recurred on “Pan Am” and is doing an arc on Aaron Sorkin’s upcoming HBO series “Newsroom”.
