Akaoni Studio’s Zombie Panic in Wonderland PLUS is now available for the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad. The game takes the popular fairy tale characters we all grew up with and turns them into demented zombie killers! Is nothing sacred to these undead flesh-eaters?

From a fog of exotic perfume arises a plague of amorous zombies, and now they’re invading classic fairy tale kingdoms! What the heck is going on here? Who’s responsible for this apocalyptic mess? Having returned to his city only to find it in shambles, our hero Momotaro heads west in search of clues. Taking up arms at his side are the sweet Dorothy, the sexy and ice-cold Snow White, and many more, all ready to blast every zombie in their path until they trace the problem to its source.

“Zombie Panic in Wonderland,” which reached number one in the Nintendo WiiWare worldwide rankings, has now come to the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad in improved and extended form!

The game’s controls have been completely redesigned for a perfect iOS adaptation. New stages and characters have also been added and all the game’s graphics redesigned for the iPhone 4 Retina display. Fans of the original WiiWare release will appreciate improved playability and incorporation of score bonuses and leaderboards. Like the original, this version serves up a multitude of destructible environments, mountains of enemies, and various guns that afford some fun on-the-fly strategizing. On release day the number of playable characters stands at six, but expect the zombie-blasting crew to grow with updates that will also bring new levels, game modes, etc.
