Trailer: Blumhouse’s FANTASY ISLAND Horror Movie

Blumhouse’s horror-twist on that old TV series Fantasy Island is headed our way this Valentine’s Day. And today we have the movie’s killer trailer to share with you guys.

Truth be told, I was kind of hooked by this movie’s general premise (a horror version of Fantasy Island, duh) but after seeing the preview this looks a little, I don’t know, ‘meh’ to me. Hopefully, the final film keeps the blood and guts coming though. Fingers crossed for an R-rating. Yeah, right.

You can check out the trailer below along with the recently released poster, then make sure to let us know what you think!

It centers on the enigmatic Mr. Roarke played by Michael Peña who makes the secret dreams of his lucky guests come true at a luxurious but remote tropical resort. But when the fantasies turn into nightmares, the guests have to solve the island’s mystery in order to escape with their lives.

Fantasy Island is directed by Jeff Wadlow from a screenplay he wrote along with Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach based on the show created by Gene Levitt. Jason Blum produces.

It stars Lucy Hale Maggie Q, Portia Doubleday, Jimmy O. Yang, Ryan Hansen, Charlotte McKinney, Parisa Fitz-Henley, Austin Stowell, Michael Rooker, and Michael Peña as Mr. Roarke.

Sony Pictures Releasing will unleash the Blumhouse Production into a theater near you on February 14, 2020.
