WRONG TURN Reboot Currently Filming + Cast Revealed Including Matthew Modine & Damian Maffei!

He broke into the beloved Strangers franchise planing “The Man in the Mask” in Prey at Night. Now, Damian Maffei is set to become part of another 21st Century heavyweight. This weekend, IMDB revealed the cast of the upcoming Wrong Turn reboot!
In addition to Maffei, the cast features Mathew Modine (Stranger Things), and Bill Sage (We Are What We Are).
When contacted, Maffei confirmed Wrong Turn is currently filming in Ohio.
“As a lifelong horror fan, a fan of cinema in general… It’s tremendously exciting to be a part of this production,” he told Dread Central exclusively. “I’m out here with a truly outstanding, ace crew, a legitimately incredible cast, some of whom I’ve been a fan of for years, under the helm of the brilliant, tireless [director] Mike Nelson with a fantastic screenplay [by Alan McElroy] you won’t see coming. I am very excited for this sucker to make its way out into the world. Seriously, make room for this one!”
Synopsis:
Friends hiking the Appalachian Trail are confronted by “The Foundation”, a community of people who have lived in the mountains for hundreds of years.
It’s pretty easy to tell from the character name’s who the good guys are and who the bad guys are. We’re assuming you’d better watch out for Ram Skull (Sage), Deer Skull (Maffei), and Wild Boar Skull (David Hutchison).
