While Hollywood Stalls, Check Out Cool Fan-Made Akira Teaser

While Akira fans wait patiently for Hollywood’s movers and shakers to get their heads out of their collective butts and make the American version of the story (production was shut down for the fourth time in January 2012), a fan has created a trailer for the film. Dig it!
The fan-made trailer was created and directed by Fabien Dubois. Baptiste Amann is the featured actor with the voice of Pierre Scarland. The Akira fan-made trailer even has its own Facebook page.
About Akira
Akira is Katsuhiro Otomo’s manga and anime adaptation of the story of a secret military project that endangers Neo-Tokyo when it turns a biker gang member into a rampaging psionic psychopath that only two kids and a group of psionics can stop.
