Independent FIlm Festival of Boston 2009 Lineup Revealed!
The fiends and fiendettes behind the Independent Film Festival of Boston just released the lineup for this year’s event, which goes down April 22nd–28th. I wish there was better news for horror fans, but the number of genre films is pretty small this year. But hey, it’s not called the Boston Horror Film Festival so we can’t complain too much, can we?
Of the list that you can check out right here, only Paul Solet’s Grace and Bruce McDonald’s Pontypool jump out at me as the horror titles playing this year, but those are two highly sought-after films for fans so it’s cool. They'll also be playing Bronson, which has been called the Clockwork Orange of our generation, the award-winning documentary Best Worst Movie, about the bizarre life of Troll 2, as well as Make Out With Violence which, from what I'm told, has a pretty cool zombie in it. Hopefuly we’ll hear about more when the full schedule is posted.

That's great to hear. I was worried that it was going to be an "All or nothing" event. Thanks for the update!

I live near the area, so I hope I can see Grace.
EDIT: Sheesh, $200?
