We’re inching closer and closer to the start of the South by Southwest (SXSW) Film Conference and Festival running March 9-17, 2012 in Austin, Texas, and today they announced a few more films and the complete panels lineup.
Of the new features and shorts added, only one is pure horror, but there’s also a classic film screening during the fest that deserves mention no matter what:

Once upon a time in an unearthly paradise called Pepperland, the Blue Meanies threaten to destroy all that is good. Enter John, Paul, George, and Ringo to save the day! Armed with their humour, songs, and yellow submarine, the Fab Four tackle the rough seas in an effort to bring down evil.
Now, as for the panels, we’d first like to point out the 3 R’s of Horror: Remakes, Reboots & Rediscoveries, which Dread Central’s own KW Low is moderating with guests Adam Green, Daniel Farrands, Mark Ward, and Scott Weinberg on Sunday, March 11th, from 5:00 PM-6:00 PM in Room 16AB of the Austin Convention Center.
In addition, the Screaming with Laughter: FEARnet TV’s “Holliston” panel with creator, director, actor and genre favorite Adam Green, actor and executive producer Joe Lynch, and FEARnet president and executive producer Peter Block takes place on Sunday, March 11th, from 2:00 PM-3:00 PM in the Austin Suite of the Convention Center. It will be moderated by Drew McWeeny of Hitfix.
Another FEARnet show, “Todd & The Book of Pure Evil” will be featured on a panel on Monday, March 12th, from 3:30 PM-4:30 PM in Room 16AB. Actors from the series including Alex House (“Todd”) and Jason Mewes (“Jimmy”) and co-creator and executive producer Craig Wallace will discuss the show in a no-holds-barred session moderated by Ain’t It Cool News’ inimitable Harry Knowles.
There are plenty of other genre-related panels, too many to mention them all in fact, so we’re just going to point you here for the full list.
