With all the news from EFM, Toy Fair, and the rest over the past few days, you might have missed that launching tonight, February 12th, at 9:00 pm is “The Walking Dead Story Sync”, a web-based application playable on tablet devices and computers that allows viewers to interact with other viewers and the show during the premiere broadcasts of Season 2 of “The Walking Dead.”
While using “The Walking Dead Story Sync”, fans will be able to weigh in, via polls, on important topics and how characters should handle critical situations. They get background trivia (and also test their knowledge with trivia questions), special graphics, maps, photos, and a weekly kill count as well as a sneak peek of the next week’s episode and an instant replay of a key scene.
“Story Sync” runs live during the premiere airing of each “The Walking Dead” episode at 9ET/8CT and 9PT. You can also check out this content at other times, but if you haven’t seen that particular show yet, beware of spoilers!
The application also supports live discussion of the show via Twitter and AMCtv.com’s live “Watch and Chat“, in which fans gather in a moderated chat space to watch the show together.
Episode 2.08 – Nebraska (2/12/12 Air Date):
Shane (Jon Bernthal) throws accusations at Hershel (Scott Wilson) after finding Sophia in the barn.
