New & Classic Resident Evil Set to Invade Wii
Okay, as a Wii owner, one of my biggest complaints is the lack of truly badass games out there. After all, there’s only so much bowling and Super Mario Galaxy a girl can play!
So the news today that a new Resident Evil game, along with some classic Resident Evil games, is set to be released for Wii later this year definitely made me one happy camper.
Capcom announced today its plans for a big comeback of its Resident Evil franchise with the release of Resident Evil: The Darkside Chronicles. This is a sequel to Resident Evil: The Umbrella Chronicles and will be available exclusively for the Wii this winter.
There are also plans in the works for a new Resident Evil “Classics” line, which gives Wii owners the chance to play the GameCube classics Resident Evil and Resident Evil Zero. No word on the official release date for those, but we’ll keep you updated!
