The Best of Trailers from Hell to be Screened in Austin, Texas

Joe Dante will be revealing a compilation of some of the great trailers the genre has had to offer in a screening of The Best of Trailers from Hell, to be shown at the South By Southwest Film Festival in Austin, Texas.

Trailers from Hell is an on-going series which showcases classic movie trailers and is shown online as well as through mobile devices throughout the world. This particular screening will be something of a 'best of', and will include introductions, commentary, and Q&A by the likes of Joe Dante, John Landis, Eli Roth, and more. Trailers shown will include, among others, This Island Earth, The Sadist, The T.A.M.I. Show, Danger: Diabolik, and Three on a Meathook.

The screening will take place on March 16, 2009, at the Alamo Ritz 1 in Austin. It will be open to all SXSW Film badgeholders on a first-come, first-serve basis, followed by those with Film Festival passes. Any remaining open seats, if they exist, will then be sold to the public. Get in line early!
