Remember watching “The Body” episode of “Buffy the Vampire Slayer” and how genuinely disturbing it was seeing Joyce laying lifeless, sprawled out on the couch? Time stopped. Sickness crept into your stomach as sadness completely poured over you. Yeah, that’s just about where we are right now.

Back in December we reported on some really sad news… Universal Orlando was closing its classic Jaws: The Ride. And close it did. Universal Studios’ Jaws ride, one of the Orlando theme park’s original attractions since it opened in 1990, closed January 2nd to make room for a new attraction that has yet to be announced.

Recently the good folks over at The Shark Is Still Working Facebook page snapped some heartbreaking images. Follow the link below to see the rest.

Once again on behalf of both Jaws and horror fans everywhere, we’d like to take this to say to the people who made this decision:

May the new high-tech ride that you’ll no doubt put in Jaws‘ place accidentally shrink you down to the size of a mouse who’ll then be eaten by a cat who will eventually excrete you out into the street. From there we hope that your remains in said cat-pie are ingested by flies, who in turn croak from soiling their innards with the sour bile of your legacy. Hopefully said flies will then be devoured by ants, who have the misfortune of marching across the path of a chubby kid with a magnifying glass on a hot summer’s day. May he focus his light-driven beam of death upon said ants, burning them until there’s nothing left at all – thereby removing any trace of your existence from this world for good.
