Help Tromadance!

Tromadance needs your help! While we sit and wait for Lloyd Kaufman’s Poultrygeist to sweep next year’s Academy Awards, there’s a far more important event around the corner. I’m of course talking about the Ninth Annual Tromadance Film Festival in Park City, Utah.

Sadly, the good folks at Troma are in serious trouble. Since Tromadance is a 100% free event and in direction competition with the smug assholes at Sundance, the gang needs the support of fans like you to make sure the festival continues.

So what are you gonna do about it? Sit back and let Robert Redford and the soulless billion-dollar conglomerates rape and capitalize independent cinema? Hell, no! Head on over to the Tromadance website and click the “Paypal” button to donate to the cause. It doesn’t matter if it’s a quarter, a dollar, or your whole paycheck – You’ll sleep peacefully knowing that you’ve helped keep the indie scene alive (not to mention unleashed more nubile Tromettes onto the world). And while you’re there, why not take advantage of Tromadance’s no-entry fee policy and submit your flick? I know I will! (*GRATUITOUS SELF-PLUG* That’s the upcoming Joe Knetter adaptation “Thirsty” with Troma alumni Joe Lynch and Tiffany Shepis! *END GRATUITIOUS PLUG*).

In the meantime, click here to enjoy one of Tromadance’s classic short films: The brilliant “Please Kill Mr Kinski”
