It's interesting to see MTV get so many horror-related news scoops these days; I guess the "M" in its name is starting to stand for Movies rather than Music.
At any rate, today the MTV Splash Page provided a release date for a film I'm definitely looking forward to: Jonah Hex. Apparently the scarred Civil War veteran won't be hitting theatres until August 10, 2010.
As we've told you previously, Jonah Hex boasts a powerful cast behind it including Josh Brolin and John Malkovich with Horton Hears a Who! director Jimmy Hayward expected to begin shooting the film about a bounty-hunting ex-Confederate soldier in April.
