Paramount and Platinum Dunes Find Their Hauntrepreneur in Russell Brand

Another horror comedy is well on its way, this time taking a look at the multimillion dollar haunt industry! Could Halloween get bigger than Christmas in terms of decorations and special places to visit? It just could be!

According to Variety Russell Brand (pictured right) is attached to star in the Paramount and Platinum Dunes film The Hauntrepreneur.

The story revolves around a family that has trouble adjusting to a new town and hires a peculiar man who calls himself the Hauntrepreneur to help them. In an attempt to bring them together, the man creates a haunted house filled with an odd cast of characters.

Paramount picked up the spec from Scott Rosenberg in October and will now look to lock down a director.
