Wes Craven’s The Hills Have Eyes 2 Comes to Blu-ray! Animals Have Flashbacks All Over the Country!

Sometimes movies get released that go so far off the rails no matter how much you know they suck, you just can’t help but have a soft spot for them. Wes Craven’s The Hills Have Eyes Part 2 is a terrible film, but damn it if we’re not salivating to see a dog have a flashback in full 1080p!
Redemption Video is releasing this weird little 1985 flick on Blu-ray and DVD in a special “Remastered Edition“. Whatever that means. Full specs and special features (if any) will be forthcoming. In the interim check out the artwork below, and then go shopping for a new ice pack.
Retail prices are $14.95 for the DVD, $19.95 for the Blu-ray. Look for it in stores on March 20th.
Synopsis
Crazed mutants with an insatiable thirst for human blood attack a group of youngsters walking along a lonely desert road in the dead of night. Everyone is killed except a man and a blind girl who are left to face the terror alone. This sequel to the beloved cannibal film is directed by famed horror auteur Wes Craven (NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET) with a score by Henry Manfredini (FRIDAY THE 13TH).
