Adam Gierasch and Jace Anderson are our kind of sick. Known for making flicks that are riddled with perversion, lunacy, and overall mayhem, we couldn’t have been happier when their latest project, Schism, was announced last October. Speaking of which… the train is getting ready to leave the station with a damned fine cast already attached.
Seven Arts announced today that principal photography on Schism will start on Monday, January 16th, in New Orleans. Written by Adam Gierasch and his partner Jace Anderson (both of whom teamed for Night of the Demons and Autopsy), with Gierasch once again in the director’s chair, Callum Blue (“Smallville”), Vinnie Jones (Snatch, Midnight Meat Train), and Ashlynn Yennie (The Human Centipede) are all set to star.
Schism follows “Dylan White,” who works as a cook in Baton Rouge, and his girlfriend, “Brandy”. Things are great for our duo until strange events prompt him to seek out the truth about himself — following clues, Dylan discovers that he has a dark past in New Orleans. Can he right his past wrongs and find redemption for his sins?
Look for more on this one as we get it!
