The duo behind the much maligned The Devil Inside seem to be a hot commodity around Hollywood lately. Just yesterday it was announced that both director William Brent Bell and writer Matthew Peterman were getting set to work on a new film called The Vatican, and now there’s talk of another flick being added to their rapidly filling plate.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Sierra/Affinity and Incentive Filmed Entertainment are financing and producing the next horror pic from the team behind The Devil Inside, which opened to record-breaking business at the domestic box office last weekend.
Director Bell will direct the untitled project from a script he wrote with Peterman. Steven Schneider, producer of The Devil Inside, is producing the film with Peterman and Morris Paulson through their production company Prototype.
Bell will start shooting in April in Romania. What does that mean for The Vatican? Stay tuned!
The plot is being kept under tight wraps; however, Bloody Disgusting is reporting that the project is a werewolf film that takes place in a police station with the suspect turning into a werewolf. The film is expected to follow in the found footage style of The Devil Inside.
