The latest take on a George A. Romero classic, Night of the Living Dead 3D: Re-Animation, is shambling our way faster and faster, and we’ve got some new stills and L.A. premiere info on tap for you to consume.

Night of the Living Dead 3D: Re-Animation stars Andrew Divoff and Jeffrey Combs. A prequel, the story begins one full day before the zombie outbreak occurs in the 2006 film. Also starring are Sarah Lieving (The Dunwich Horror), Robin Sydney (The Lost) and Denice Duff (Subspecies) as “Sister Sara”, a Sarah Palin-esque figure who unwittingly walks into the zombie outbreak and meets a fitting end. If only this were the real world! We don’t think Palin could ever handle herself in a “squirmish” with the dead.

The movie will be making its Los Angeles premiere on Sunday, January 15th at the L.A. 3D Club. Hit up that link for specifics.

Synopsis
After inheriting the family mortuary, a pyrophobic mortician (ANDREW DIVOFF) accidentally exposes hundreds of uncremated bodies to toxic medical waste. As the corpses re-animate, the mortician’s inheritance-seeking younger brother (JEFFREY COMBS) unexpectedly shows up, stumbling upon a full zombie outbreak!

You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never, ever choose to be.

It takes place one whole day before ‘Night of the Living Dead’? Does that mean the characters will be wearing 1940s fashions while they’re carrying their digital cameras around?

looks a little bad but actually a little excited for this one. always love “living Dead” style zombie movies and ill probably enjoy this one as a dumb but fun little zombie “popcorn muncher”
