Katee Sackhoff to Tango with Riddick in Dead Man Stalking?

The set of the next film in the Riddick franchise is about to get a whole lot prettier if this potential addition to the cast that will have tons of sci-fi fans swooning ends up being finalized! Read on for details.

According to Deadline (and as originally reported by Bloody Disgusting back in October) Katee Sackhoff (pictured right) is in final negotiations to play the female lead opposite Vin Diesel in Chronicles of Riddick: Dead Man Stalking. In the movie, written and directed by David Twohy, the “Battlestar Galactica” alumna would play Dahl, a Nordic mercenary tracking Riddick (Diesel).

Synopsis
Betrayed by his own kind and left for dead on a desolate planet, Riddick (Diesel) fights for survival against alien predators and becomes more powerful and dangerous than ever before. Soon bounty hunters from throughout the galaxy descend on Riddick only to find themselves pawns in his greater scheme for revenge. With his enemies right where he wants them, Riddick unleashes a vicious attack of vengeance before returning to his home planet of Furya to save it from destruction.
