We were pretty sure FEARnet would be putting its upcoming horror sitcom “Holliston” on the air during the network’s Tuesday night “Twisted Comedy” block, and we’ve gotten confirmation of that along with the show’s official premiere date (April 3, 2012) and a list of some guest stars and celebrity cameos to be on the lookout for.
From the Press Release:

Shortly thereafter, “Holliston,” from the twisted mind of genre favorite Adam Green (Hatchet, Hatchet II, Frozen), makes its official debut on FEARnet television Tuesday, April 3, 2012, at 10:30 p.m. ET, with a special sneak preview event hosted by Green and co-star Joe Lynch (Knights of Badassdom, Wrong Turn 2), on Sunday, April 1.
Season Two of “Todd & The Book of Pure Evil” will also be available on FEARnet On Demand, FEARnet’s Free VOD service, starting March 14, 2012, with Season One becoming available as of March 6. “Audiences will simply love our spring ‘Twisted Comedy’ line-up,” said Peter Block, president, FEARnet. “We’ve worked tirelessly to find the perfect pairing for ‘Todd & The Book of Pure Evil.’ ‘Holliston’ will have people laughing, cringing, reveling in all of the genre references, and possibly taking misguided advice from the foulest-smelling alien advice-giver ever featured on series television (yes, I’m looking at you, ALF). I can’t wait for everyone to see it.”
“Holliston,” FEARnet’s first original scripted television show, is a riotous and offbeat multi-camera, buddy comedy set in the town of Holliston (near Boston). Described by its creators as “The Big Bang Theory meets Evil Dead II,” the series shines a light on the post-college life where everything is a struggle, and nothing works out like it’s supposed to, with terrifyingly funny results as Adam and Joe struggle to become big-time horror filmmakers and make ends meet.
“Todd & The Book of Pure Evil” is a supernatural comedy that tells the story of a small-town high school kid trying to save the world. In each episode of “Todd & The Book of Pure Evil,” Todd and his cohorts are pitted against the dark powers of a mysterious book that grants seemingly innocuous wishes with sinister, unexpected, cataclysmic, and downright satanic side effects. The series is created by Craig David Wallace, Charles Picco, and Anthony Leo and was highly successful in its first season on FEARnet. In the second season “Todd & The Book of Pure Evil” will bring fans more grotesque monsters, countless uncomfortably funny situations, and fighting of the nastiest evil.
