Trailer for Romero’s Screening

default-featured-image

The ScreeningJust in case you guys were out of the loop somehow (through no fault of this site, that’s for sure…), George Romero’s son Cameron has directed his first film, and it looks gory as hell. It’s called The Screening.

The film’s official site now has the trailer on it, and even though the brief glimpse at some of the performances reeks of super low budget indie filmmaking, the violence that takes up the last half of the trailer’s running time more than makes up for it. The Screening takes place when an underground screening is held to showcase the films of Rupert Borgia, Thomas Edison’s (fictional) assistant whose goal was to capture death on camera and was hanged for his troubles. None of his films had been shown since the trail of his great grandson in 1976, and judging by the carnage that takes place during this screening, it’s for good reason.

To see the trailer hit either the film’s official site or its MySpace page (though feel free to check out both), and keep it here for more on The Screening very soon!
