The last time the former governator tangoed with the supernatural was at the height of Y2k fever in the flick End of Days. Now that he’s getting back to business blowing shit up on the big screen, that may be about to change.
File this one under rumor for now, but according to The Arnold Fans, Arnie will be back to Belen, New Mexico in only three months for an April 1st production start date for his new film Black Sands (formerly Black Sunday).
Arnold will play an immortal, and “I’m a kind of angel,” he says. “I cannot currently say more about this film.” Schwarzenegger has no other future roles that he is committed to act this time. Expect this movie, with Arnold raging war against weapons dealers as an immortal instrument of death, to be a cross between Constantine and Commando!
Black Sunday will be directed by Scott Waugh and Mike McCoy. Financed by Bill Block’s QED, the film will begin production April 1, 2012.
