Universal Wants You & Chainsaws

Halloween Horror Nights at Universal Hollywood!Do you have the urge to scare people? Do you dream about jumping out of the bushes and watching with glee as unsuspecting folks run away in terror while you wield a real chainsaw? Do you live near Universal Studios Hollywood?

If you’ve answered yes to all those questions then you are the perfect candidate for next week’s Chainsaw Training at the studio’s theme park! Starting next week, September 6th, Universal wants to bring on 30 frightful fiends to be part of Halloween Horror Nights who are ready to learn the ins and outs of chainsaw wielding!

What do potential Leatherfaces have to look forward to if they take up the call to arms? Official word is, “Universal Studios Hollywood will take 30 scare-actors through a taxing “Chainsaw Training” boot camp where they’ll learn to master the skills necessary to the proper operation, control and menacing application of a chainsaw. The program, led by expert chainsaw coaches, will guide a combined group of novices and the more experienced on the intimidating Chainsaw Dance and the daunting Chainsaw Lock-Step procession, among other cutting-edge techniques to be utilized by performers throughout Halloween Horror Nights.

That is a pretty sweet deal. If you’re up to the task then head on over to Universal Studios Hollywood on 100 Universal City Plaza, Universal City, CA 91608 at the hour of 9:45 AM on September 6th to try out.

If you didn’t know already, this year’s Halloween Horror Nights is going to be different, at least in Hollywood. After years of using original characters the studio has decided to bring on three of the biggest names in the horror genre: Freddy, Jason and Leatherface! Don’t pass this experience up (“Vacation With Jason, Freddy & Leatherface ” – July 25, 2007)! Halloween Horror Nights kicks off on October 5th and will run through the 31st.
