69th Annual Golden Globe Awards Nominations Are Very Light on HorrorThere’s not a lot of horror included in this year’s Golden Globe Awards nominees, but what is there should make genre fans happy, even if TV shows like “The Walking Dead”, “True Blood”, and “Dexter” have been overlooked for some new blood.

The only horror flick included anywhere in the motion picture categories is The Skin I Live In (Spain) for Best Foreign Language Film.

So moving on to TV, we have the following (including a few “fringe” shows):

Best Television Series – Drama: “American Horror Story” and “Game of Thrones”

Best Performance by an Actress In A Television Series – Drama: Mireille Enos – “The Killing”

Best Performance by an Actress in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television: Jessica Lange – “American Horror Story”

Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in a Series, Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television: Peter Dinklage – “Game of Thrones”

Congratulations to all the nominees! For the full list and more details, visit the official Golden Globes website. The 69th Annual Golden Globe Awards will be broadcast live in HD on NBC Sunday, January 15, 2012 from 5-8 PM (PST) and 8-11 PM (EST).
