Do you like zombies? Do you enjoy having a laugh? Well, if the term “zombedy” doesn’t prompt you to roll your eyes in disgust, then you’ll be glad to hear that the Pierce Brothers’ entertaining and well-received horror/comedy romp DeadHeads (review here) will be roaming onto DVD and Blu-ray in the UK on January 2nd, 2012, courtesy of G2 Pictures. Synopsis:
The Pierce Brothers’ winning combo of gory horror action, smart humour and heartfelt emotion follows zombie slackers Mike (Michael McKiddy) and Brent (Ross Kidder) as they travel across the country to find the former’s old girlfriend and love of his life. But will those nasty bounty-hunting agents with a secret agenda catch them before they do?
Horror icon Bruce Campbell says of the film, “In a world of putrid zombie movies, DeadHeads is a breath of fresh air.” As a zombieland Abbott and Costello, actors McKiddy and Kidder’s chemistry and timing are superb. And you’ll just love Markus Taylor as the lumbering ‘Cheese’ in this Road Trip of the Living Dead that’s hilarious fun and surprisingly sweet.
