I still have very high hopes for Rob Zombie’s Halloween regardless of what early reviews and even what our own staff have had to say about it. Zombie made a major comeback after House of 1,000 Corpses and even if the remake of Carpenter’s classic isn’t mind blowing, it can get by just by being fun to watch. Remember, you can’t please everyone all the time.
Dimension also has plenty of faith in the musician turned director because Variety is telling us that Rob Zombie’s partnership with the studio is going to continue for at least two more motion pictures after Halloween‘s release this Friday. According to the trade, Zombie has struck a deal to both write and direct two more features for the company, though details on dos projects are currently hush hush.
