Hudson Horror Show IV Brings Old School Terror on December 3rdNew Yorkers, we’ve got a film festival that you’re going to love! On December 3rd The Silver Cinema in Poughkeepsie, NY, will play host to a day of classic old school horror blended with some seriously obscure offerings. This is the Hudson Horror Show.

Entitled the Hudson Horror Show IV: A December to Dismember, this film fest not only brings the horror but some holiday spirit as well. Take a gander at the lineup for this show. The double-headlining films are the classic Christmas nightmare Silent Night, Deadly Night and (how can you go wrong with the granddaddy of them all?) Tobe Hooper’s masterpiece, The Texas Chain Saw Massacre. Also included for your admission price are Lucio Fulci’s The Beyond, the rarely seen revenge flick Rolling Thunder featuring William Devane and Tommy Lee Jones, and (dig this one; it’s not Twilight or “True Blood” but…) Werewolf vs. Vampire Woman. If this isn’t enough, HHS-IV organizers Chris Alo and Ted Ledger have promised a SIXTH mystery film.

Six movies plus classic trailers and giveaways for the low, low price of $26. Really? How can you beat that? Add to that the fact that you’ll have local scream queen Seregon O’Dassey and Dread Central’s own Doctor Gash in attendance as well. It’s a full day of horror, folks. Get your tickets now!

For more info and to pre-order tickets (presale lasts until November 28th), check out the Hudson Horror Show website. It’s all the horror entertainment you can cram into one day, presented by horror fans, for horror fans! If you’re in the area, don’t miss it! Still not convinced? Check out the promo video below. Twelve hours of movies for $26? You can barely get popcorn and a box of Sour Patch Kids at the theater for that price. Come join us!
