Back in August we shared with you the awesome news that writer/director Tom Holland’s original Fright Night was finally making its high-definition bow onto Blu-ray on December 13th under the Twilight Time banner. Now the disc is available for pre-order.

To pre-order your copy, visit the official Screen Archives website here and place your order directly with the site.

Because this Blu-ray release is a special edition (which means it won’t be hitting Amazon or other retailers) and limited to only 3,000 discs, there’s not a moment to waste in nabbing a disc for yourself before they vanish quicker than Amy’s virginity!

Twilight Time’s Blu-ray presentation of Fright Night will be accompanied by an extensive Blu-Ray booklet filled with all sorts of fun stuff for longtime fans as well as the isolated score track (for the first time ever), and the original theatrical trailers will be included, too.

  1. Haven’t ordered mine. Somewhere down the line I’m sure it’ll get a redistribution. And $30 is a ripoff for a bare-bones Blu-Ray. No commentary, documentary….nope, trailer doesn’t count as a special feature anymore.

    • As a survivor of the laserdisc era, I can easily make due with dropping $30 for a barebones title as long as the transfer is good.

  2. I actually ordered my copy before I did the write-up- LOL. You know…just in case that by posting the story all 3,000 copies would sell out before I could get mine… ;)
