The Amityville Haunting Trailer Escapes from The Asylum

Post Thumb:

The Asylum has come a long way over the years. Its movies have gone from mind-numbingly horrible to watchable to fun. Which camp will The Amityville Haunting most likely fall into? It’s kind of hard to predict. Watch the trailer and judge for yourself.

Directed by Geoff Meed and starring Jon Kondelik and Luke Barnett, look for Amityville Haunting on DVD December 13th. In the interim let’s all say a little prayer for Foy’s sanity, shall we?

The plot is pretty straightforward and simple, but does it really need to be anything other than that?

Actual found footage that documents the horrifying experiences of a family that moved into the infamous haunted house.”

Thanks to DC reader Emma Dunstard for the heads-up.

You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never, ever choose to be.

I’m voting with the found footage sucks crowd. I admit I’ve liked a few movies using found footage but that’s in spite of the shakey, spastic camera work, not because of it.

I like most the Amity movies but I think this is one I’m going to have to skip Found Fottages are nice and all, and they all claim to be real but lets take a moment and think…..

Okay moments over and even after thinking I find its just not real sure maybe parts of it are or just the whole concept of the movie is based on something real…

But honestly saying this film has found fottage is just rediculs I mean the only found fottage to have on this is just what the cops found from where this really did happen there is no way there is all of a sudden going to be a video tape of whats happen, maybe some crim scene photos but no way Ronnie video and tapped everything he did…

Its just no plausable (Did I spell that right?) The only decent film of Found Fottage typs that is any where remotly believable is the Paranormal movies, and the onlt reason that works is because they actually have set up camra’s so its plausable for that film to have found or lost fottage but this one and the Jason one their thinking of doing just wont make any sense…

They should just turn this in to some type of Documenty with crime scene photo’s and what not that would be much more believable at least to me any way
