It’s been a while since we’ve heard much about Ti West’s Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever, the sequel to Eli Roth’s breakout debut, but such is always the case when post-production is going on hot and heavy, as it were. We have a set visit preview you can check out (“Set Visit Preview, First Pics from Cabin Fever 2” – April, 2007), but the other day STYD got a cool update from the one and only Larry Fessenden.
The versatile actor/director/producer plays the role of the truck driver who is transporting the bottled water that causes so many problems for the kids at the prom in the sequel and confirms that, like all of his roles so far, he dies in a fairly nasty way.
As for how Spring Fever looks, Fessenden has nothing but good things to say about West’s vision; ”I know Ti’s movie will have plenty of blood for the gore fans; it’s going to be appallingly grotesque.”
Check out Shock’s chat with the man at the link above for more on the numerous pies the renaissance man has his fingers in, and look for him up on the big screen in the new Jodie Foster thriller The Brave One, where he’s featured very prominently in the trailer.
