Sometimes movies get made that just don’t live up to expectations. No matter how you slice it, a lame duck is nothing more than that … a lame friggin’ duck. Or in this case a lame wolf. Read on for some amusing insight.

Recently Universal Chief Ron Meyer took a trip to the Savannah College of Art & Design, where he spoke to students on VOD, while also admitting that a lot of Universal’s flops, namely Cowboys & Aliens, Land of the Lost and The Wolfman, all suck! Hooray for honesty!

“We make a lot of shitty movies. Every one of them breaks my heart,” Meyer said. “We set out to make good ones. One of the worst movies we ever made was ‘Wolfman.‘ ‘Wolfman’ and ‘Babe 2’ are two of the shittiest movies we put out, but by the same token we made movies we believe in,” he states quickly, doing some damage control.

Hit the link below for the whole enchilada! It’s really good stuff. As for The Wolfman being one of the worst movies ever made, if you listen closely, you can hear the heart of our own Matt Fini breaking into tiny pieces. Yeah, it was shit, but worst ever? I dunno about that. What say you? Tell us in the comments section below.

You're such an inspiration for the ways that I will never, ever choose to be.

But it’s Universal’s fault that THE WOLFMAN was disappointing. A chaotic set, a director walking out, insistence on using too much CGI…on and on the mistakes were made. It’s not a bad film, just…could have been so much better. But it’s no VAN HELSING, at least.

I started watching “Wolfman”, and I walked out on it… and I NEVER walk out on movies, so all I can say is I don’t want to finish it… (I did REALLY enjoy Cowboys and Aliens though… people go to hard on that film, it’s good fun!)

Wolfman was pretty damn terrible. Especially if you consider the amount of time and money that went into it.

I have to disagree with him; Cowboy & Aliens rocked and while Wolfman has it’s flaws; it’s not a terrible movie.
