Dead War is Now Stone’s

When we first told you about the film War of the Dead (“War Declared on Dead” – December 2006) it was from the mighty pen of The Foywonder so some may have questioned if it was just another Foy movie or something altogether more terrifying. As we suspected at the time, the latter has turned out to be true.
War of the Dead is now called Stone’s War and while neither title are terribly original (the lead character’s last name is Stone, you see), the new one is a bit less generic. The folks over at 24 FPS discovered that the Stone’s War MySpace page has suddenly been filled with all sorts of pics from the film, which looks like it may have wrapped production recently. Stone’s War tells of a group of soldiers in World War I lead by Captain Martin Stone who attack an enemy bunker, but are pushed back after underestimating the bunker’s defenses. As they try and regroup, the men they just killed start coming after them, though this time without the use of guns, and all the rules of the game change again.
