Road to HellWhen we first reviewed Albert Pyun’s Road to Hell back in 2008 (read that review here), it was unfinished, and Pyun had told us that he might have to scrap several of the composited effects and rework a few things. Well, this weekend on October 30th he plans to finish shooting the last parts of it at the Hard Rock in Las Vegas, including two music performances with The Roxy Gunn Project. In the meantime he sent over a brand new trailer edited by Daniel Ray Gutierrez.

Road to Hell is the unofficial sequel to the 1984 rock & roll fable Streets of Fire, and here’s what Albert has planned for the film, which he’ll be presenting at this year’s AFM:

The primary missing piece to complete Road to Hell is the ending climax, which features Cody (Michael Pare) meeting his long lost daughter for the first time at her concert. His love child with Ellen. Road to Hell ends with this father and child reunion and a rousing concert given by the daughter. The band I’ve selected for this end sequence is called ‘The Roxy Gunn Project’. They are based in Las Vegas, Nevada, and are quite popular here.

Below the trailer are a couple of screenshots Pyun posted on his Albert Pyun Movies Facebook page. He adds, “So happy to be back on the finishing of this potentially very cool film. My most artistic movie I think if we can get past the tech issues which you can see in these pictures.

Look for more soon!
