Premiere Props Having Monster Sized Halloween Auction!

Once again the good folks over at Premiere Props have put together a horror-themed auction to die for, riddled with all sorts of horror goodies and special guests. Even cooler? Tim Sullivan (2001 Maniacs, Chillerama, “Vh1’s Scream Queens”) will be joining radio personality Leo Quinones (The Film Freak) for this guaranteed circus of fear!
In addition to rare, iconic items such as Kiefer Sutherland’s trench coat from The Lost Boys, Dracula’s cape from The Monster Squad, the Endoskull from T3, genre legend Forrest J Ackerman’s personal photo album, and writer/director Tom Holland’s private Fright Night and Child’s Play production archives, offered to the public will be costumes and props from Sullivan’s 2001 Maniacs franchise, including the Confederate eye patches worn by Robert Englund (Freddy Krueger – A Nightmare on Elm Street) and Bill Moseley (The Devil’s Rejects), horror giants who both have essayed the role of Mayor George W. Buckman.
“As a collector myself, I know there is no greater thrill than actually owning a piece of horror history,” said Sullivan. “The fans have been really great to the Maniacs franchise. I am delighted to be able to offer them this opportunity to bring the fine folks of Pleasant Valley literally into their home!”
Though certain items such as Englund and Moseley’s eye patches, Skinny Puppy frontman Nivek Ogre’s Harper Alexander outfit, and Jezebel the Stuffed Sheep are expected to command high prices, a wide range of starting bids will be in evidence, allowing all fans the chance to win their favorite screen-worn costume or blood-soaked prop (see below list for the full listing).
Joining Sullivan live at the auction will be Tom Holland himself, as well as Maniacs stars Lin Shaye (Insidious), Christa Campbell (Drive Angry) and Trevor Wright (The Social Network).

Just in time for Halloween Premiere Props will be auctioning over 1000 rare costumes and horror-themed props at the Premiere Props headquarters in El Segundo (128 Sierra Street, El Segundo, CA 90245) on Saturday, October 22 and Sunday, October 23. There will be a preview from 9-11am PT each day with the live auction beginning at 11am PT.
This two-day event will feature items from iconic horror and sci-fi film franchises including “Halloween,” “Scream,” “Star Trek” and “Planet of the Apes” as well as a large selection of major props and costumes including the actual ship from “The Three Musketeers” (which is opening nationwide on October 21).
Additionally several items from Forrest J Ackerman, the original fanboy and editor of the Famous Monsters of Filmland, will also be up for bid.

Premiere Props’ headquarters will be decorated in full Halloween mode, and special guests may drop by to help scare things up! “Our Halloween auctions are always so much fun for horror, sci-fi and genre fans,” said Dan Levin, Vice President of Marketing for Premiere Props, “as we have amazing items up for auction that truly celebrate the scary and fun spirit of the holiday.
