Another version of the official teaser trailer for Darren Lynn Bousman’s upcoming religion based horror tale 11 11 11 is here, and from the sounds of things, no matter what, we’re all totally screwed. Thank the lord for that! If not, we’d have no movie!

Rocket Releasing and Big Air Studios have joined forces to acquire all North American distribution rights to the Darren Bousman (SAW II, III, IV) horror-thriller 11-11-11. It tells the story of a writer haunted by a series of mysterious events surrounding the impending date of 11-11-11. The film stars Timothy Gibb (WITCHBOARD 2), Michael Landes (FINAL DESTINATION 2, POSSESSION), Wendy Glenn (NIP/TUCK) and Brendan Price (DAGON). 11-11-11 will be in theaters like its title reads on November 11, 2011.

“We are so excited to acquire this intense, edge-of-your seat thriller,” said Dan Griffiths, President of Rocket Releasing. “Bousman already has a loyal following with the SAW Series and Repo: The Genetic Opera, and 11-11-11 will not disappoint his fans.” “The opportunity to distribute 11-11-11 was really exciting to us at Big Air Studios. We feel this movie will play well theatrically, but all across all platforms,” said Marc Sternberg, President of Big Air Studios.

Bousman wrote the film, which was produced by Wayne Rice and Richard Heller. The deal was negotiated by Marc Sternberg and Michael Arrieta from Big Air Studios, with Dan Griffiths from Rocket Releasing and Verve’s Adam Levine, representing the filmmakers. “11-11-11 is definitely a labor of love,” says Bousman. “I hope the movie will peak audiences’ curiosity and leave them wanting more.”

Synopsis
After the tragic death of his wife and child, famed American author Joseph Crone (Timothy Gibb) travels from the U.S. to Barcelona, Spain, to reunite with his estranged brother, Samuel (Michael Landes), and dying father, Richard (Denis Rafter). However, fate has a different plan for Joseph as his life becomes plagued with strange happenings that always occur at exactly 11:11. Fascination with the sightings quickly becomes an obsession. He finds out its religious significance and soon realizes that 11.11.11 is more than just a date; it’s a WARNING!
