Summit Entertainment Find Ghosts In the Flesh

Summit Entertainment has long ridden upon the wave of sparkling vampires and underwerewolves, but that ship is quickly sailing off into Donesville. Next for them? Ghosts! I wonder if they will have bushy eyebrows and perfect abs?

According to Variety, Summit Entertainment has purchased the spec script In the Flesh, which Kristin Hahn adapted from the teen ghost tale A Certain Slant of Light.

Hahn will produce along with The Twilight Saga producers Marty Bowen and Wyck Godfrey.

The novel, by Laura Whitcomb, centers on a young woman who died 130 years ago whose guilt prevents her from moving on. She falls in love with another wayward spirit, who shows her how to inhabit a mortal body whose spirit has died.

Ugh.
