Watch Kids Go To The Woods ... Kids Get Dead -- For Free! The freebies keep coming for you from Doctor Gash. So far this week I got you an awesome pumpkin carving pattern of Lucio Fulci’s Zombie, info on where to go for a free Q&A/autograph session with Syfy’s “Ghosthunters” and now … how about an absolutely free way to watch Michael Hall’s slasher Kids Go To The Woods … Kids Get Dead (which incidentally joins Dead Hooker in a Trunk and Know Models Were Harmed for my favorite recent film titles).

Writer/director/producer Michael Hall invites everyone to the Kids Get Dead website anytime during the month of October to stream the film for free. What do you have to lose? Head on over and check it out. I can say Kids Get Dead features the best use of a gas mask I’ve seen since the Charred Walls of the Damned “Ghost Town” video.

Kids Get Dead stars Leah Rudick, Andrew Waffenschmidt (some handle you got there, kid), Joseph Campellone, Meghan Miller, Eric Carpenter, Kristen Adele, Amanda Rising, Seth Stephens, Kevin Shea and Carly Goodspeed. And they break all the rules of horror concerning drug use, fornication and general bad behavior. You know nothing will get you killed quicker by a faceless slasher than pre-marital copulation! Robert J. Huntley is the cinematographer and Julie Langer does the FX.

Synopsis:
Do you remember staying up late to watch your favorite horror host on local television? With VHS tape in hand to record all the action (and hopefully not tape over anything important – like your home movies), this nearly forgotten ritual was a mainstay of our youth.

Kids Go To the Woods… Kids Get Dead brings back the classic slasher flick with horny teenagers, worthless cops, a crazy war vet and a masked killer. And it gives the complete experience with VHS static, fake commercials and vignettes with horror hostess Candy Adams.

It’s Casey’s (Leah Rudick) birthday, and to celebrate, she and her friends are headed to a cabin in the woods for a wild weekend of sex, drugs and partying. A crazed killer (Joseph Campellone) has other plans for them, and it’s up to Casey’s younger brother, Scott (Andrew Waffenschmidt), aided by a mysterious novel that seems to spell out their fate, to find their only hope of survival.
