I was lucky enough to get the chance to see Primus last week, and I was pretty much convinced that their stage show was one of the strangest things I’d ever see. However, that theory was shot right to hell this evening when I was introduced to The Horribly Slow Murderer With the Extremely Inefficient Weapon series. Strange, but hilarious! And fans of the series will be thrilled to know the newest installment, Spoon Wars, is available now.

And just to save you the extra clicks, simply scroll down and you’ll find Spoon Wars in its entirety right here. For more visit the series creator, Richard Gale’s, YouTube page. And for updates on the series, visit Gale’s Facebook page.

From the Press Release
Richard Gale’s latest installment in The Horribly Slow Murderer series is now online and is taking the world by Spoon.

Set in the Star Wars universe, Spoon Wars marks a departure into sci-fi territory for the horror comedy about an unstoppable supernatural killer armed with a tablespoon.

A continuous action sequence involving elements never before seen in a lightsaber duel, the new 8-minute short film took six months to produce, with more than 10,000 frames of special visual FX created by Richard Gale. The film features the first-ever underwater lightsaber fight in a live-action film.

The film that began the series, The Horribly Slow Murderer with the Extremely Inefficient Weapon, is ranked as the #5 Most Favorited Film of All-Time in YouTube’s Film & Animation category, with nearly 16 million views. The film received critical acclaim, screening at more than 75 film festivals around the world, and garnered more than a dozen audience awards. The film was named Best Short Film of 2009 by Rue Morgue Magazine.
