It’s been a while since we’ve gotten an update on Exhumed, a uniquely original vision of horror written by Guy Benoit (Atomic Brain Invasion), produced by Ted Marr (The Disco Exorcist), and directed by Richard Griffin (Nun of That); but that’s all about to change. Today we have for you the film’s new poster and trailer along with a couple of stills.

From the Press Release:
Different from the acclaimed genre fare Scorpio Film Releasing is known for, Exhumed is a terrifying fairy tale centered in the repulsive recesses of humanity. Loneliness, solitude, fear, and longing lead an unlikely group of housemates to the darkest edges of life and death.

Director Richard Griffin (Nun of That, The Disco Exorcist) believes “Exhumed marks a real change of pace, not only for us, but for modern horror in general. There are no tricks, no gimmicks, no CGI fakery, but a return to classic storytelling. I am quite proud of the level of performances in this movie, which are only matched by the sheer originality and power of the screenplay by Guy Benoit. I think audiences will be quite disturbed by the events that take place in the film.”

Producer Ted Marr is “really excited to be trying something new with Exhumed. It’s almost like a period piece, given that it is in black and white, and the composed, measured style of it. But I think it really delivers on an emotional level perhaps more deeply than any of our other films to date.”

Exhumed, starring Sarah Nicklin, Michael Reed, Michael Thurber, Evalena Marie, Rich Tretheway, Jonathan Thomson, and genre legend Debbie Rochon, will have its world premiere on Friday, November 11th, with showings at 7 and 9 p.m. at the Orpheum Theater, 1 School Street, Foxboro, Massachusetts. Tickets cost just $9 at the door.

Synopsis:
Exhumed deals with a twisted family that is seemingly unable to leave their own home. Their gnarled existence and mounting animosity finally give way to violence and visceral panic.
