Rest in Peace: Anime Composer Osamu Shoji Passes Away at 85

Sad news to report as composer Osamu Shoji has passed away, as confirmed by Jon Dobyns of Tiger Lab Vinyl, who released Shoji’s score for the anime film Wicked City in 2015. Shoji was 85 years old. No cause of death was given.
On top of Wicked City, Shoji composed music for the series Black Jack, the sci-fi horror OVA Roots Search, and the sci-fi action/fantasy film Space Adventure Cobra, among other titles.
