Syfy’s Mothman Flies Home October 25th Via Lionsgate

Post Thumb:

Here’s one you’ve been STARVING for, am I right? Um … hello? Seriously, guys, come on … well, okay. Be a pissy pants. See if we care. The flick is hitting DVD anyway!

Audiences will have a new reason to fear the dark this Halloween, as Lionsgate releases Mothman on DVD this October 25th. A Syfy Original Movie Event, the film debuted to more than two million viewers in April 2010. Starring sci-fi fan favorite Jewel Staite (TV’s “Stargate Atlantis”) as an aspiring journalist who must return to her hometown – and the scene of her teenage crimes – to cover a story.

Desperate to put the horrific events of her past behind her, Katherine (Staite) relocates to Washington, DC after high school to become a journalist. Ten years later, she is summoned back to her hometown to cover the annual Mothman Festival. There she must face her estranged friends and the life-altering drowning they covered up as high school seniors. The group begins to experience terrifying visions and soon figure out that the Mothman isn’t a mere fairy tale… and it wants its revenge for their crime.

LOL I’m suprised people seem to hate it so much, sure it wasn’t a great movie, but think for a SyFy film it’s above average. my friends and I had a big film night and the first film we decided to watch was this, and they HATE SyFy movies, yet they all seemed to really enjoy this one.

Oh well, that’s just my opinion.
