Stunning Prints For Event Horizon, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Salem’s Lot Released

If you’re a fan of custom movie posters, ones that are created by fans out of love, then you’ve almost certainly heard of Art of Ronin, aka Christopher Shy. Having created some of the most visually arresting pieces I have personally seen, Shy’s work beautifully mixes various techniques to create a final product that looks like a cross of watercolor color blending and digital precision. Chaos meets order.
We’ve written about Shy’s work in the past and we’re excited to write about three new prints that have gone up for sale on Art of Ronin. The three new prints are for A Nightmare on Elm Street, Event Horizon, and Salem’s Lot. As with much of Shy’s work, the prints have a sense of continuation in that they each feature a focal character, or set of characters, in the middle while the outside is deceptively open in that there are still gorgeous details scattered throughout.
